Little Folly is a private retreat exclusively for two and situated on a historic hills station(Est.1910) of ten acres. The luxurious cottage, overlooks romantic dry stone walls that lead to the Edna Walling designed gardens. en acres of gardens and blueberry farm. Setting the mood is a beautiful wrought iron chandelier, handmade by a local blacksmith and a romantic four poster bed, hand turned by local craftsman. The light and sunny cottage offers delightful views of Edna Walling gardens and Mt.Dandenong. After a day of exploring the mountains, relax in a double spa, curl up and dream in front of the fire and sleep well in the queen sized four poster bed.Guests will find a library of DVD's and C.D's, books and magazines. Also available if required is an Access bathroom built to Australian standards . All tariffs include breakfasts provisions including home baked bread, farm fresh eggs, bacon from local gourmet butcher,yogurt, tomatoes, blueberries in season, expresso machine, plunger coffee, choice of loose leaf teas and more

After fouteen years, we have decided to close Folly Farm Rural Reteat. Its been a wonderful journey, beginning with Robert designing and building the cottage...thankyou to all our guests. We have been delighted to share Folly Farm with you.
Folly Farm Blueberry Growers will continue as usual.

On the 75th anniversary of the battle of Milne Bay PMG, I thought you might like to see a photo of the bay where the two week battle took place. The memorial looks out across Milne Bay. Its hard to imagine the two week battle across this large bay in hot steamy weather.

We latter visited Bita Paka War Cemetery, an hours drive from Rabaul. Beautifully kept, the resting place for our soldiers from WW1 & WW2. Such was the impact on visiting this cemetery that we went back a year latter to spend more time there....there are special places that do that to you!

East New Britain is an amazing region and is a must to visit if you can.....because you can!!!
