Deep in the velvet trenches of wedding editing, but I simply had to interrupt the programming to share this little slice of cinematic heaven from last weekend. 🖤

The couple? AMAZING. The atmosphere? Immaculate. The whole day? A delicious little fever dream of romance, nostalgia and ridiculously good taste.

And can we PLEASE have a moment for the vintage black Buick with its cherry-red interior? The drama. The glamour. The old Hollywood of it all. I fear I’ll never recover.

Some weddings just have that extra little something. The kind of magic you can’t manufacture, only feel. And this one had it in abundance.

Honestly, I spent half the day thinking, is it too late to manifest this exact wedding for myself?

Anyway, back to my editing cave. I have approximately a million more beautiful moments to fall in love with. x

We’ve all heard of being a regular at your favourite coffee shop or your local pub. You know, the kind of place where they know your name, your order, and all your little life updates.

But imagine being a regular with your photographer. ♡

Same familiar face behind the camera, but every time we meet, the storyline has changed a little.

A new romance, a shiny new ring, a baby on the way, a tiny new human stealing the spotlight. All these lovely little plot twists, and somehow I get a front-row seat to every single one.

One of my favourite things about being a wedding, maternity and family photographer is that so many of my clients come back, again and again. I get to watch their worlds grow, celebrate their milestones, and turn all those fleeting, honey-sweet moments into photographs they’ll keep forever.

It’s a little bit love story, a little bit time capsule, and a whole lot of pinch-me-I-get-to-do-this-for-a-living.

Same people. New seasons. More love. And somehow, the plot just keeps getting cuter. ♡

Okay, so apparently being in America has just meant I’m operating on Australian wedding time anyway.

I’ve been up at all hours chatting to you about timelines, family photos, Front Door Sessions, what you’re wearing, where everyone needs to be and all the tiny details living in your brain at 11pm.

And genuinely, I love it.

There’s something very funny about being on the other side of the world and still knowing exactly who’s getting married where, whose family session we’re planning and which front door I’m photographing when I get home.

Apparently distance means nothing when I’m nosy about your plans. Someone tell that to the man I’m talking to.
