One year ago today, two very special members of the Prairie family tied the knot!

Matt & Hol first rolled into our lives back in 2019 planning to stay only for a little while. Instead, they became a part of the Prairie story, forever.

What a privilege to celebrate their wedding here on the 31st of May 2025. Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary, you two - we will never get sick of reminiscing this day 🩷

Meet Janna 👋

A familiar face around the Prairie, Janna (aka JoJo) first joined us last April after spotting a job ad on Facebook! Originally from London, she & partner Samuel spent 18 months travelling & working around the world before landing in Parachilna.

Most days you’ll find her out the front as our Duty Manager, but she’s a true all-rounder - jumping into the kitchen, housekeeping, or wherever she’s needed without missing a beat!

We’re still catching our breath after an EPIC Easter weekend at the at the Prairie 😅 a huge thank you to travellers & locals alike who spent some time with us.

Great food, cold beers, music & an iconic Prairie atmosphere - it’s weekends like this that remind us why we do what we do.

It hasn’t been easy with road closures, fuel worries & fair bit of uncertainty, so to see the place full & buzzing meant a lot - we’re very grateful for the support.

The seasons only just ramping up, bring on what’s ahead!
