Just down river from our marina, the lock is the gateway towards Berri.
The current closure does not stop houseboats using the river as most houseboats head north towards Renmark.
Very interesting to inspect the workings of a lock.

Some views never get old 🍃

After some much-needed rain over the past few months, winter has breathed new life into parts of the Riverland. Native bush is flourishing, the Murray winds beneath the iconic red cliffs, and the contrast between the vibrant greens and rich ochre landscape is something special.
