Thank you Jamie Helyar and crew from Vast painting and decorating for removing the tears of soot from inside my unit! What a big difference!!
It’s 2 weeks until the first anniversary of losing my home. It’s a miracle that Donni’s Digs was saved albeit a little damaged. Now to just get the power on and the carpet cleaned and it will be habitable once again and I can come and holiday whenever I feel like it

Hello everyone,
It is with deep regret that I am announcing the closure of Donni’s Digs indefinitely.
On March 2nd, my house burned down and although Donni’s Digs didn’t burn, it was smoke, water and structurally damaged. There is no power, and limited water and is basically uninhabitable in its current condition. I have no idea when all of this will be rectified, but once it all is, and the rest of the house is demolished and cleared away, the property will be placed on the market and (fingers crossed 🤞🏼) sold!
It’s time to move onto a new chapter. It was fun while it lasted. I hosted and met some very interesting people and got some wonderful reviews which was awesome…especially since this was the first time I’ve ever done anything like this, and I had no training, qualifications or experience.
Thank you to everyone who supported me during this venture

AstroTurf laid and decking in place. Still a bit more to do before completion, but getting there; albeit slowly due to health conditions, but better than never and it’s way better than it was. No prickles or bindi’s to worry about and it’s soft and spongy underfoot due to the underlay underneath it. Clear roofed pergola for all weather outdoor entertainment and relaxation

One step closer to reopening! Interior painting being completed today! Then to finish off the rear courtyard and do a reshuffle of the furniture and layout inside.

Due to Covid restrictions, the internal & external upgrades/renovations to Donni’s Digs have stalled and therefore, no bookings are being taken at the moment. I had planned on reopening on Dec 1st, but it is looking unlikely at this stage. I’m sorry to have had to cancel bookings during the month of Dec, but it’s out of my hands at this point.
Once everything is finally completed, I will advise of my reopening and resume to take bookings.
Hoping everyone has a wonderful, happy and safe Christmas and New Year.

Hi all, unfortunately due to the Corona Virus, Donni’s Digs is still closed until further notice. I was going to reopen on April 1st, but this will now stretch out until the pandemic is completely under control as I cannot risk or compromise my own health due to my own current health conditions.
