🐋 Have A Whale of a Time at Serenity House Pemberton 🐋

Jon and I took a little time out this week, and made the short picturesque drive from Pemberton to the surrounding rugged coastline at nearby Windy Harbour.

We took a coastal walk stopping off at stunning Nature’s Window, before taking the short walk to Tookalup Lookout where we were treated to a very special show… a group of Southern Right Whales putting on their own version of water aerobics! 🐋💦

It was one of those wonderfully unexpected moments that reminds us just how much there is to explore right on our doorstep.

And then, of course, there was the best part… heading back to the comfort of Serenity House Pemberton, lighting the pre-stacked wood fire, putting our feet up and settling in after a day exploring the spectacular Southern Forests and coast. 🔥🌲

September and October are such a beautiful time to visit Pemberton, with spring wildflowers, coastal adventures and the chance of spotting migrating whales along the south coast.

Misty mornings… a pot of English breakfast tea… a cosy blanket… 🍂☕️

At Serenity House Pemberton your day begins with the laughing kookaburras and magpies signalling the start of the dawn chorus.

Then come the wattles, parrots, robins, silvereyes, splendid fairywrens and honeyeaters, filling the forest edge with birdsong… while families of kangaroos quietly hop through the gardens. 🦘🌿
