So, vendors were invited to jump on the runway at the Mardella Meadows - Perth Wedding Venue Open Day while the bridal models got changed into their next outfits.
Rather than awkwardly walking up and back, all us vendors decided to make it entertaining. And they bloody nailed it. Some danced, some necked a drink…I grabbed the mic 😬
Before I became a celebrant back in 2019, I spent a few years performing at Universal Studios Singapore (amongst other contracts along the journey), so when this completely unrehearsed moment came up, “Runaround Sue” was one of those songs I could pull out without even thinking, having sung it over a thousand times.
Huge thanks to Paul Cuesta • Perth Wedding DJ for handing me the mic and rolling with the randomness. Poz is one of those genuine legends who’s always backing everyone in the wedding industry. 🥰
