What a beautiful send off for a truely beautiful person we had yesterday. We would like to thank everyone for their support leading up to yesterday and your continued support moving forward. We will certainly miss you Les.

The hotel and bottle shop will be closed for a short amount of time while we process through the legalities of pub. Keep an eye on the page as we will update you all as much as we can when we can.

We would like to now announce that our dear friend les’ funeral will be on Wednesday 3rd Nov at Finneys, Franklin grove, Youngtown @ 2:30pm. This will be live stream for those unable to attend.

To all our loyal patrons, the hotel and bottleshop will be open tomorrow (Saturday 30th October) from 3pm.

Dinning will commence at 6pm.

TAB will be available during operation hours but
Gaming and keno facilities will be unavailable until further notice.

We’ve worked really hard to be able to open for you all and we truly appreciate each and every one of you for your understanding and patience while we got it sorted. We look forward to welcoming you all back into the pub tomorrow. 🍻🍻

We’re regret to inform you that the hotel and bottle shop will remain closed until further notice. Due to the legalities of the situation we are complying with legislation and doing the right things. We are sorry to everyone for any inconvenience this has caused you. We are hoping to have it all sorted in the coming days so we can all get back to celebrating Les’s life.
All updates will be posted on here so please keep and eye out.

We appreciate your respect at this current time so please keep negativity away while we deal with the situation at hand.

To our valued customers, near and far, family and friends, it’s with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our dear fearless leader and friend, Les from this world.
We are absolutely devastated and saddened by this. We appreciate all the calls, texts, inboxes and emails regarding Les, he was loved by so many people. We will announce any funeral details in the coming days. We know Les appreciated each and everyone of you. 💔💐
We are sorry we haven’t replied to each any everyone of you that have contacted us but we are also trying to process this sad event and will get back to everyone in time.

The hotel will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 27th October) and reopen on Thursday 28th October. The bottle shop will remain open from 12pm.
🍻🍻 we hope to see you on Thursday to raise a glass for the boss man.

The kitchen will be closed today (only) for lunch and dinner. The chefs have been good sports and had their Covid jabs and have fallen unwell today. Sorry for any inconvenience. We'll be back open tomorrow.

We have some pies and pasties back in the pie oven! The guys have been very busy in the kitchen.
We do not have any scallop pies at the moment but we do have a range of other pies along with pasties, including a vegetarian option.

We also have a range of toasted sandwiches (including a delicious homemade braised steak and onion), available all day.
