WE’RE LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT VENUE MANAGER! 🍻
The Exchange Pingelly is looking for a Venue Manager to join us and take the lead in the day-to-day running of our pub.
We’re not just looking for someone who can make a roster, pour a b**r and tick boxes. We want someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, is great with people and takes pride in creating a venue that people love coming to.
The Exchange is a country pub, and that means our customers and our community are a huge part of what we do. We want a manager who notices when something needs doing, gets involved when things are busy and is always thinking about what we can do better.
For us, this role needs someone who understands that when you’re at work, the venue comes first. Hospitality is naturally social and we absolutely want our manager to have a great relationship with our customers, but there’s a difference between being part of the atmosphere and getting caught up in it. We need someone who can enjoy the banter while still keeping an eye on the bar, the staff, the customers and what needs to happen next.
Stock control is also a major part of this role. Ordering, stocktakes, monitoring wastage, keeping an eye on costs and making sure stock is properly accounted for are all high priorities. We need someone who understands that the little things add up very quickly in hospitality.
You’ll need to be organised, proactive, honest and able to think on your feet. Someone who can lead the team, solve problems, stay on top of the admin and take real ownership of the venue.
Most importantly, we want someone who cares about The Exchange and wants to help make it a pub that locals are proud of and visitors want to come back to.
