Wow! rather a busy weekend!?!
Having said that, with Sunday free, Bill & I took off for a drive to Waroona. I have been wanting to visit the area and in particular , Forest Retreat, as a gorgeous couple have chosen this for their wedding in November. What a treat, a perfect drive through wonderful countryside. Keep in mind the whole area was effected by the most awful fires, not that long ago. Everything looks so fresh and what a beautiful setting. Not long now?

What a terrific day we had yesterday!
As a marriage celebrant, in Australia our Federal Government makes sure we Celebrant attend a training program each year.
Yesterday’s program conducted by Susan
Gallina was one of the best I have attended.

It keeps us up with any changes and through discussions and sharing ideas, it keeps us fresh and inspired, particularly lead by an inspiring presenter such as Susan.

Held at Seashells Resort in Mandurah, meeting and getting to know other Celebrants, is always a blessing.

Thank you THE Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants, for organising this fantastic day.

Hint for today:
One thing all bride's should plan for is 'sore feet'.
Those beautiful shoes you have chosen to wear, could be the most uncomfortable part of your day UNLESS, you take them out of their box and wear them in, by walking them in as much as you can well before YOUR day. Your feet will say thank you! And will enjoy the day with your shoes ON right through the day.

Just a reminder to couples planning your wedding, if having an outside wedding, have a back up, just in case it rains or blowing a gale! Remember the changeable weather now?!?! If a beach wedding, visit a few times at the time of the wedding, not necessarily for the rain, check for wind. This can spoil the beauty of the ceremony, not what you see in your dreams. Even some parks are a problem!

congratulations to Mike & Val. Their wedding on Saturday, was just perfect. Held at Mallard Duck in Henley Brook, the setting was amazing, overlooking the lake. The host, Alain Gaudet, made sure everything went smoothly.

For me as a cousin of Mike's, it was special with so many family members around us all.
Our love and best wishes to the combined Hemmings & Osborne family. xx

Well, the so called 'warmer months' have started!!?? The brides in particular are being very brave, with beautiful gowns, and goose mumps, as I have been experiencing with the ceremonies, in most cases being held in gardens & parks. Actually, I do enjoy the winter, but can't wait for sunnier days, and less wind. It shows you that everyone should have a plan B. Good luck and best wishes to all for the busy months ahead.
