WE’RE HIRING: OUTDOOR LEADERS

CAMP Fairbridge is looking for Outdoor Leaders to join our team across Western Australia!

Locations: Point Peron, Pinjarra, Pemberton, Geraldton & Dampier
Position: Casual (with part-time & full-time options available)
Start Date: Late September 2026

We run outdoor camps and activities that help young people build confidence, teamwork, and life skills. Every day is different and full of adventure!

Activities include kayaking, snorkelling, canoeing, abseiling, high ropes, mountain biking, archery, bushcraft and more.

We’re looking for people who enjoy:

DAMPIER:

Over the past three days, we had the privilege of welcoming the amazing students and teachers from St Paul's Primary School Karratha to CAMP Fairbridge Dampier.

Our facilitators delivered a wide range of engaging outdoor activities, with a strong focus on inclusion, teamwork, confidence, and fun. Every student was encouraged to challenge themselves, try something new, and celebrate their achievements along the way.

One of the highlights of the week was seeing the smiles, laughter, and friendships that developed as students stepped outside their comfort zones and supported one another. Our team adapted activities to ensure everyone could participate and enjoy the experience, creating lasting memories for all involved.

We were humbled by the wonderful feedback from the school, with teachers sharing that this was the best camp experience they have had in years. Comments like these are a testament to the passion, professionalism, and dedication of our incredible Dampier team.

A huge thank you to the students and staff from St Paul’s Primary School for bringing such enthusiasm and positivity to camp. We hope you had as much fun as we did and can’t wait to welcome you back again!

So far, our team has been busy with:
• Installing new perimeter fencing
• Fresh mulching across the ground area
• Building retaining walls to shape the space

Point Peron School Holiday Programs

CAMP Fairbridge School Holiday Program at Point Peron has been so much fun.

During the holidays, we had dozens of kids aged 6 - 15 take part in a range of different programs for both parents and kids.

Activities included coastal walks, rock climbing, archery, scavenger hunts, bush craft, campfires, shelter building and crate climb.

Kids and their parents came from the local community and across greater Perth to take part in these action-packed days and half day activities, led by our camp staff.

Aside from the great experiences each day, these programs also offered kids and parents an opportunity to get to know one another and build their community and friendship groups in the process.

PEMBERTON:

What a fantastic weekend at our Pemberton Family Adventure Camp!

We had an awesome mix of 16 kids and parents, who all came with the intention of spending time with one another in nature and develop new friendships with likeminded families.

CAMP Fairbridge leaders kept the crew engaged with mountain biking, bush walks, archery, bushcraft and team games throughout the weekend. This was all topped off with hearty cook ups, solid sleeps in cosy bunks and of course blazing camp fires long into the night.
