There are no modern furnishings in this Funky Little Shack; it's all collected, pre-loved and eclectic. The space available for rent is a one bedroom (queen) self-contained apartment located beneath My Haven. It has a carport on Midjimberry Rd....walk up steps, past the chooks...striped door...you're there! It has its own kitchen and living area with shared bathroom facilities and outdoor shower.
Perfect for couples although a king single bed is located in the living room should a third person like to stay. Built in 1947, it is one of the last original beach shacks left on the island, and we have tried to keep to this theme when renovating and decorating. We boast a clawfoot bathtub, chenille bedspreads, homemade cushions, mismatched glasses, a tea pot, seaside themed books, Scrabble set, dvd collection, hammocks and even an outdoor fridge for your catch of the day. The location and views are some of the best on the island. We are on the lighthouse hill; a very quiet dead end street high above Point Lookout. You don't even realise that it's holiday season until you take the 5 minute walk down into the village. We hope you love your stay here as much as we do.
