Always be careful when booking via 3rd party Online Travel Agencies, while we have a contract with the head company owning booking.com this affiliate of theirs doesn’t seemingly do the right thing by consumers according to this ABC report. But when you book direct, your booking is handled entirely onshore in Australia & without a large % of that booking heading overseas in their commission! Book direct, book Australian just as you’d buy Australian at the supermarket.

Big shout out to Pokolbin Village staff, who upon attending work at 7am on Sunday witnessed our neighbours on fire from our neighbouring machinery shed. Without hesitation emergency services were called, instigating their response, but our staff member didn’t stop, heading over to our neighbour’s accommodation, where he raised from their sleep 2 - 3 unaware rooms (6 people) of the impending danger. Once this was done, they’ve made their way out of the area & made this recording. Well done & a deserved case of beer from to come. We know our staff are amazing & we thought you should know as well 👏 👏 👏
