We have been lucky enough to welcome Lisa from Truffalo in Myrtleford into the Punkah Pub Kitchen. Lisa came with some incredible locally grown white truffle.

We’ll be using this beautiful local produce to infuse the truffle oil that will finish our new Mushroom & Asparagus Risotto, featured on our upcoming Spring Menu.

Supporting local producers is incredibly important to us at the Porepunkah Pub. We’re proud to showcase quality ingredients from across our region and create dishes that celebrate the amazing produce available right here in North East Victoria.

A big thank you to Lisa and Truffalo for working with us we can’t wait for everyone to try this one.

🍻 WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT VENUE MANAGER / 2IC

Can handle a packed pub, make decisions on the fly and still have a laugh with the team?
We should probably talk.
Porepunkah Pub is looking for an experienced hospitality person to join us as our Assistant Venue Manager / 2IC.

This isn’t a clipboard-and-watch-everyone-else-work kind of role. You’ll be right amongst it leading shifts, supporting the team, solving problems, looking after our customers and working alongside our Venue Manager to keep the pub humming.

The nitty gritty :
🍺 20–38 hours per week
🙌 A genuine leadership role with room to make it your own
🏔 Work in the heart of Porepunkah & the High Country
💡 Bring your ideas we really want them
🤝 Help us build a bloody good team and workplace

Work somewhere that believes being professional and having fun can coexist
We’re looking for someone who is confident but approachable, hardworking, calm under pressure, proactive and not afraid to jump in wherever they’re needed.
