Just had a visit to the newly awarded Bird In Hand winery in the Adelaide Hills at Woodside. Really nice place if your up that way.

I took this photo in the Adelaide hills or Mount Lofty ranges if you want to be accurate. No reason except it was a nice day and looked like a postcard.

I forgot to add this photo of the water feature behind the Penfolds winery restaurant, its a nice view through the windows to the city of Adelaide below. At least I think it is.

The restaurant at the Penfolds winery is only a couple of minutes out of Adelaide and the views over the city are fantasic. The home of the famous 'Penfold Grange' and city lights at night,if you havent been yet you should give it a try.

South Australia's Monarto Zoo has a new lion cub. There will be naming competition next week I believe.

These Kangaroos live at the Jacobs Creek winery which not only has great views as you can see by the photo we took down the bottom of this page but it is also a favourite hangout for Lance Armstrong when he comes down to Adelaide for the Tour Down Under bike races. They have a very good restaurant and visitor centre to look over while you try their wines as well.

Here's a koala from the Adelaide Zoo. Our Zoo is on the banks of the River Torrens which runs through Adelaide and the parklands.

All this just 500 meters from the city centre with shopping centers and more great food outlets than you could try in a lifetime.
