Looking for a weekend away...really and truly away from it all? You could follow in the footsteps of our realseeker who recently took a wander down from Melbourne to the tranquil hamlet of Port Albert.⠀

They stayed at and were treated to the most stunning sunset and a sky full of stars. Over the weekend they hired a little motorboat from Boat & Tackle and putted around, enjoying the view from the water - you can see across to Wilson's Promontory from Port Albert. You're also very close to the historic bustling town of Yarram and it's a great place to access and explore the majestic Tarra Bulga National Park.⠀

The thing you'll love about coming to Gippsland is the incredible diversity of landscapes...all this in just one weekend.⠀
