Across our Shire, many of our streets, parks and landmarks carry the names of people who helped shape the communities we know today.

Now, the Victorian Government's Remember a Local – Name a Place campaign is giving Victorians the opportunity to nominate someone whose contribution deserves to be remembered in the same way.

Whether it's a volunteer, community leader, local pioneer, coach, artist or someone who quietly made a difference, this is a chance to help ensure their story lives on for future generations.
