Harley contacted me looking for a wow factor proposal location while on a romantic holiday at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas.

After lots of secret emails and texts it was decided that a poolside private dinner would be perfect.
We worked with the amazing events team at the , to
create a sensational 4 course dinner with private service in the magical keyhole space that is suspended out over the pool ❤️

With Erin thinking she was being taken to an indoor table for a casual dinner she was definitely surprised as they were delivered to the entrance of the keyhole and after a glimpse of the ‘Marry Me’ sign the tears and laughter flowed as Harley declared his love ❤️
with distant onlookers erupting in cheers of congratulations it was an emotional moment!
And of course ‘She Said Yes’ 💍
They celebrated into the night with fairy lights and candles under the cozy umbrella sheltering them from the love of the light sprinkle of tropical rain which luckily held of off for most of the evening 👏

The amazing Jessie Goetze from Port Douglas Wedding Photography & Designer Portraiture Australiaas always plays the biggest part capturing the intimate moment and again delivered such magical imagery.

Christian & Stephanie ❤️ 29/12/2022

Christian had planned to ask his soul mate Stephanie to Marry him while on holiday in Port Douglas, knowing he wouldn’t be able to keep the surprise for long he decided it was best to do as soon as they arrived and contacted me to organise a romantic picnic with all her favourite things in a very special location.

After a flight from Adelaide to Cairns
They were met at their accomodation by a private transfer and whisked off to (cover story ) checkout Stephanie’s dream wedding location at St Mary’s by the sea, while they waited to check in. After a sneak peak inside the church, she was lead to our awaiting picnic for two where Christian, on one knee proposed and of course ‘She Said Yes’.
With one last surprise !
We also arranged a private scenic flight 🚁 to celebrate their engagement from the sky with Nautilus Aviation
What a lucky lady ❤️

Hayden & Jess ❤️ 23/12/2022

Hayden was very clever using a beautiful family photoshoot as the perfect undercover proposal!

They had organised the gorgeous Renee Oliver Photography to meet the family for a casual beach shoot, secretly Hayden had organised a picnic setting with a carefully positioned ‘Will you Marry Me sign’ further along the beach.

The kids ran along the beach having fun and Renee snapping many stunning images along the way, before long they had reached the cute picnic setup and the unsuspecting Jess was turned toward the sign as Hayden got down on one knee,
and with tears flowing,
‘She said Yes’ 💍🥂

Lewis & Bec ❤️ 09/12/2022
And Freddie 🐾

Lewis was looking for a romantic way to propose to his gorgeous girl Bec, a casual afternoon beach walk with their special puppy Freddie was the cover story !

While a cute boho picnic with her fav sunflowers 🌻was setup further along the beach! Freddie was used as an excuse to stop as Lewis bent down and adjusted his collar,
With Bec’s attention and on one knee
out came the hidden ring 💍
Declaring his love and of course ‘She said Yes’

Congratulations Lewis and Bec 🌴 so lovely to meet you and little Freddie 🐾

Jessica contacted me looking for a beach picnic to help celebrate their honeymoon!
Officially married in America they chose to have a special celebration in Australia just for the 2 of them wanting to do their offical wedding shoot in paradise 🥂🍾

Crossing our fingers we avoided the tropical storm clouds all around, parting perfectly in time for Jessie from Port Douglas Wedding Photography & Designer Portraiture Australia to take the gorgeous couple on a beautiful photoshoot over looking the coral sea 🌴

Returning to a gourmet picnic it was a magical afternoon they told me they would always remember ❤️

01/10/2022 ‘Thala Beach’

A Photoshoot with a twist ! This gorgeous couple were staying at the beautiful Thala Beach Resort and while waiting to check in the groom to be planned a walk to the beach, the weather was sensational that day, awaiting was photographer Jessie from Port Douglas Wedding Photography & Designer Portraiture Australia undercover pretending to be doing a photoshoot for the resort and our picnics, before long the couple were opportunistic models. Crystal completely unaware, all being arranged by her clever partner.
During the shoot Jesse went down on one knee and
of course "She Said Yes' and
they celebrated the afternoon away with champagne and our picnic by the sea. It was so gorgeous to watch and one of the
most magical days in paradise.
Big thanks to Jessie photographer for organising the photo shoot with the client Jesse and inviting us ! It came together beautifully.

Klaus & Lily ❤️ 31/10/22

Klaus called me while on a babymoon holiday with his beautiful partner Lily.

He had held onto the ring 💍 until the last day of their holiday looking for the perfect moment !

We created a beautiful picnic on Fourmile Beach as the sun was setting , they enjoyed the gorgeous view with a delicious grazing box and soon after a quick thinking Klaus pretended to take Lily’s picture with her looking out to sea and sneakily replaced the camera with an outstretched hand while on one knee !
And presented her with a beautiful ring 💍
And of course ‘She said Yes’ ❤️

Jason & Sophie ❤️ 28/10/22

Jason called me desperately trying to organise a surprise proposal for his beautiful partner Sophie while they were on a mini break in Cairns visiting family.

Sophie’s sister had made a gorgeous t shirt for his daughter to wear with the words “Will You Marry My daddy”?

But trying to get mother and daughter away from each other long enough to don the T-shirt was becoming a bit difficult😆, so we came up with a picnic for 2 as the location and I sent a voucher to Sophie’s mum so she could give to her for her birthday a few days before,
So she couldn’t say no !

The picnic was set up on the beautiful Trinity Beach, Sophie arrived with Jason as planned while the rest of the family hid near by and let their daughter run up to the picnic and the cutest question was asked when mum Sophie read the T-shirt! ❤️

Although she did admit she knew Jason was up to something ! But most importantly
She said “Yes”💍
