🚗 In the driver's seat of daily hotel operations; you will manage guest experiences end to end, from reservation through to checkin, check out, in-house guest services & tour bookings.
📝 You will also be the co-ordinator extraordinaire of your housekeeping & maintenance colleagues onsite daily.
🔁 We have 3 offices in Port Douglas and the team work together with centralised phones, inboxes and res systems.
🖥 We hope you have great computer skills, ability to work autonomously etc etc but also to sparkle when talking to guests by phone & in person 🎇
🏠 This is a permanent ongoing role for a permanent resident of the local area or if you have great experience in very similar role and looking for a tropical sea change we will train you in all things FNQ.
🌎 We will consider travelers / visa holders with excellent similar experience and minimum stay commitment till end of OCTOBER 2023 and you need to have secured accommodation
🤹🏽♀️To ensure great work / life balance: We don't do split shifts or night shifts. We don't change rosters or shorten shifts. We prefer to have a fixed roster and this applicant will ideally work Wednesday to Sunday if not still Must be able to work weekends - always or alternately.
⌚Permanent Part time 4 days or full time 5 days - shifts are 8:30am to 5pm
↗ Our current team are all movin' on up to new positions as they take on new tasks, skills and challenges and they are ready to offer loads of on the job training and support to you... which is also how they became so awesome in their roles with us.

The person who does your roster will know your kids' names, partners name, where you come from and what suits you best.
We are not a giant corporation and our decisions are made right here with our team. We don't have a hiarachy driven business and this job is much MORE than a stock standard Guest Services Role or even FOM.
✔ We know the best person for this job is actually someone who excels in their current reservations, reception or FOM role, but wants to have more input & control, learn much more from open and transparent management, and work at a fast pace while having fun; or someone taking a break from a their own Management Rights Business or corporate leadership role in accommodation.
