If we had to plan the ideal race weekend in Port Douglas, this is what we would do.
Run Port Douglas is on from 4 to 6 September and almost all of it happens within a few minutes of our front door. Check in on the Friday, carb up at , coffee from before the later starts, four start lines on the Saturday, then salt water, a long afternoon of nothing, and yoga on the sand before the Sunday markets.
Save it for the weekend, or send it to whoever you talked into entering with you.
