Love working outdoors? Handy with tools? Take pride in keeping things looking their best?

We're looking for a reliable local to join our Star Resorts Property Care team in a permanent, full-time role.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and would love to take ownership of caring for one of our beautiful resort spaces.

🌿 Your days will include:
-Pool & spa cleaning and maintenance
-Light gardening and grounds care
-General handyman jobs and minor repairs in rooms
-Keeping our public areas and facilities looking their best

Don't know much about pools, spas or air conditioning? That's absolutely fine! We'll provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We're looking for someone practical, reliable and keen to learn.

✔️ Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm
✔️ No after-hours work or on-call duties

Good with your hands? Like variety? Prefer getting things done to sitting behind a desk?
We’re looking for a practical, reliable person to join the Star Resorts Property Care team full-time across our Port Douglas resorts.
No two days are quite the same. You might be:
💧 Keeping our pools & spas sparkling
🌿 Doing some light gardening, mowing & outdoor care
🔧 Fixing the little things that inevitably need fixing
🏨 Carrying out maintenance in guest apartments
✨ Keeping public areas looking sharp
🛠 Learning pool care, preventative maintenance, air-con servicing and more

You don’t need to be a qualified tradie. We’re much more interested in someone practical, capable, reliable and willing to learn.

Already an experienced handyman or tradie? This could also be a great change if you’re ready for steady full-time work without quoting jobs, chasing invoices or running your own business. You might even look at a team leader or Area Leader role 🤷🏻

We’re looking for someone special to join our Front Office team, and this time we are particularly hoping to find a long-term local Star we can train, develop and grow with us.

This isn’t just a reception job. There is heaps to learn, plenty of variety and genuine opportunity to take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.

🛎️ Your role will include:
• Reception, reservations, check-ins & guest services
• Helping guests discover and book Port Douglas experiences
• Managing phones, inboxes and reservation systems
• Coordinating with our housekeeping & property care teams
• Being part of the day-to-day operation of three busy resorts

✨ You might be perfect for us if you:
• Love people and naturally make guests feel welcome
• Are confident with computers and quick to learn new systems
• Are organised, capable and happy working independently
• Want more than “just a job” and are keen to keep learning
• Plan to make Port Douglas home for the long term

Experience in accommodation, tourism, reservations or reception would be fantastic, but attitude and potential matter to us too.

Star Resorts is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Area Lead to oversee housekeeping operations across our Port Douglas resort properties.

This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside a great team to ensure our apartments and resort spaces are beautifully presented for guests arriving from around the world.

🛏️ At Star Resorts we use the title Area Lead, reflecting our hands-on leadership style. In many larger hotels this role would be equivalent to a Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.

You’ll be coordinating teams, maintaining quality standards and helping create a positive workplace culture.
