"Amanda and Peter are the most amazing hosts. xoxo Before we even arrived, Amanda was doing everything that she could to ensure that we would make the most out of our stay. Amanda was able to offer guidance and recommendations for tours and places to see. She was able to arrange our transfers AND book our tours. Amanda would go above and beyond to understand us and recommend the best tours for us. This was so very helpful and took away the stress of planning for us as we worked throughout our busy day-to-day lives, while also trying to ensure our holiday planning was on track. Once we landed at Cairns Airport, Amanda was checking in to see if we had been able to locate our transfer. When we arrived at the property, Amanda and Peter greeted us with warm smiles. Peter walked us to our apartment and talked us through the map of the area and helped with dining and local intel. The property itself was way better than pictured! So clean and spacious! The pictures just don't do the property justice. The location is fantastic. A short stroll to the shops and restaurants or a short stroll to the beach. The strolls are a part of holiday / beach tradition. We loved the pool. Of all the places we stayed up north, this was the only one with a kitchen with enough plates etc! What makes this place even more special is how much Amanda and Peter look after their guests. Amanda would wait with us out front of the property for our tour/transfers and ensure our good departure. She would wait, no matter how long to wave us off on our adventure. Our sons simply loved this and waved back eagerly at Amanda and Peter, who would join her. The pure banter and relationship of the two and their connection with the clients made this a home away from home. While not a bed and breakfast, this venue felt like you were the guests of locals. Better than a bed and breakfast in my opinion, as it was private, but you had the hosts there when you needed them. :)
We loved this place! This is our Tropical Far North QLD pick. We also ventured on to other locations outside of Port Douglas and every accommodation was compared to this one in terms of standards, with this one at the top.😀😀😀
