Congratulations to Sharmie Bewley for winning our $50 fathers day voucher with the most popular and yet terrible dad joke!
The Royal Hotel would like to thank all who participated, and we would like to wish all of the dads out there a lovely fathers day this coming weekend!
We will be open for lunch from 11:30am - 2pm
and again, for dinner from 5:30pm until 8:30pm

Peter has not only been a loyal regular of ours here at the Royal Hotel but has also been a dedicated Coopers fan throughout the years!
Serving him a freshly tapped 2026 Vintage pint, continuing on with his coopers exploration journey was quite the pleasure as always.

That’s a wrap for the 2026 Footy Tipping Competition at the Royal Hotel! 🏉

There’s been plenty of very funny (and mostly healthy ) rivalry going on in the front bar this time around, and it’s been fantastic to see!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in our 2026 competition. A shoutout to the newcomers this year, along with those who returned hoping to defend their championship… winners will be announced during the breakup celebration! 😅

The Royal Hotel would also like to give a huge thank you to Squashy for his ongoing contribution to the venue and for once again running our footy tipping competition — checking the cards, keeping everything organised and managing everything else that comes with the comp! we love ya Squashy!

To finish off the season, Squashy has invited everyone who participated to join us for Footy Tipping Break-Up Drinks at 2pm on Sunday the 13th of September!
