Heywood Wood, Wine & Roses

Family orientated festival beginning in the morning with the street parade and ending with grand finale fireworks at10.30pm. Musical and cultural entertainment for all ages, stalls, static displays, wood chop championships, mower racing, trail bikes, circus and much more! Some of the region’s best vintages will be available in the festival’s wine marquee. Enjoy the many window displays, market stalls, the creative challenge, wood chop, wood turning, floral art & cut flowers, highland dancing, carnival rides, Heywood model train, dancing & Karate, open art exhibition, mower mayhem, school art, amazing craft, Magician Dwayne Andrews, khanacross and photography.
Heywood Truck and Ute Show
Truck Show Categories – Best American, best European, best Japanese, best 1-4 years, best 4 and over, best Rigid, best fleet (3 or more), people’s choice, Rig of the show.
Ute Show categories – best 4x4, best BNS, best feral, best chicks, best themed, best pre 90 Ute, best street, best company/work Ute, furthest travelled.
Admission: $20.00 at gate. Includes Festival Entry with Truck and Ute Show Entry Included (No additional Fees). Trophies and Prizes up for grabs. Judging at 2pm
This year is the Wood Wine and Roses is celebrating 22 years of fun filled entertainment.The Event coordinator Ross Barclay and entertainment coordinator Jeff Mizzi have been extemely busy securing big names for what is bound to be once again very special occasion.
