The wild bunnies are getting bigger and bolder, even eating seeds alongside birds. We have sold the property and leave next week before Xmas. The new owners will not be doing anything just yet, but the wild life will stick around. Will keep you posted.

We don't mind sharing the cherry tomatoes on the balcony with local wildlife ( the main veggie garden down the back is netted) but when one king parrot turns up and nibbles out the seeds from every single unripe one, and discards the rest, now that's not sharing.

Our Story

Simply unwind at a beautiful, restful place. A bed and self catered breakfast accommodation providing short term stays for up to five people. Quiet location overlooking trees yet walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Hunter River. Enjoy a good night's sleep. Awarded certificate of excellence by TripAdivsor.

After 12 years, we have decided to cut back, and in the Covid environment, we will no longer offer breakfasts. There are options within walking distance for sit down served breakfast, or you can self cater for simple breakfasts using our facilities.

We will only accept one booking of guests at a time, so you will not be sharing your relaxation space with others. Extra sanitizing will be done to ensure door handles, stair banisters, and other surfaces commonly touched are kept virus free.
