Every so often I check though our guest books as I love reading about people making memories here and today don’t disappoint! It’s been a while since we have had a drawing left so I had to share this one…
“ Couldn’t have spent our 4th Anniversary / Birthday anywhere better! Thank you Eloise & Troy for making this trip so special. We will miss the little cabin and all the animals. We can’t wait to come back” We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for your drawing gift 🥰

Don’t faint but we finally have an announcement to share about the bridge…. After the bridge being complete for over a month now except for “landscaping” the mayor is finally available for the photo shoot to open the bridge! Local residents and business don’t care about landscaping, or parking at the bridge that will just be trashed or have burnt out cars there like it has done for decades we just want it opened! It’s been drivable for months now with council using it along with heavy machinery to fill pot holes in the area but residents and the general public still being made to drive alternate ways 🤦🏻‍♀️ who cares about the photo Mayor Penfold just open the bridge already!!!! What a colossal mess this has turned into full of broken promises to residents. I hope he enjoys the remainder of his term in council I highly doubt he will be there again…….

With soccer season now in full swing we love being able to sponsor the kids teams. Although Troy got the main sponsor this year for Campbells team, he was lucky enough to play for the u14 team with some mates and play in the Hunter River Retreat jersey as well. Let’s go Rovers 💜💟🤍⚽️🥅

Peter & Paula are growing well and their coloring is really starting to come through! Another 6-12 months and I think we will have a full display of Peter’s feathers! I cannot wait 🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚
