Following last month’s fantastic start to the year, we’re excited to invite you to join us again for our April Friends of Capel Sound Foreshores working bee!
This month, we’ll be giving the Leonard Street beach carpark a well-deserved spruce-up. Activities will include mulching new garden beds, replanting vegetation, and installing bollards to help protect the area and preserve our hard work.🧤🌿
It will be a rewarding morning with something for everyone! As well as an excellent opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and make a positive impact on our beautiful foreshore. 💚🌳
📆 Tuesday 21st April 2026
⏰ 9:30am- 11am (followed by morning tea)
📍 Meet at the beach carpark opposite Leonard Street, Tootgarook.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothes suitable for moving through semi-thick vegetation
- Hat, sunglasses, and a water bottle
- Gloves if you’d prefer to use your own (we’ll have plenty available)
After the working bee, we’ll gather for a delicious morning tea, so stick around for a cuppa and some tasty snacks. ☕️🍪
Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time joining us, everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!
