Nothing beats a father-son weekend on the Baffle! 🎣
Jessie and Al have been making the most of their getaway, and the highlights speak for themselves. Jessie managed to land this cracking Mangrove Jack (his first!) and we think Al has the right idea with that hammock view afterwards.
Whether you’re here for the “fight” of the catch or just a quiet place to “refresh your lazy time,” Flinders Lodge has you covered.

There is nothing better than welcoming repeat guests back to Flinders Lodge—and it’s even better when they come back to the boat ramp with an esky full of stories (and fish!). 🛥️☀️

Our guests headed out to the ocean today and hit the jackpot with a beautiful mix of Cobia, Trevally, and Nannygai.

Special congratulations go to Angus and his dad, who weighed in this impressive 4.48kg Cobia! 🐟🏆 It’s awesome to see the next generation of fishos out-performing at our little slice of paradise.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us again, guys. We hope the fillets taste as good as the catch looked!

The rain might have kept things quiet for a week, but the leaderboard is still standing! Our "Bu****it Board" is looking for some new names to add to the hall of fame.

The river is high, and the sunset is beautiful tonight, but our hearts are with our local community and those in the surrounding areas dealing with the aftermath of the rain.

We know many of you are facing road closures and property damage right now. While we’ve been lucky at the lodge, we’re mindful that the road to recovery for our neighbours and guests is just beginning.

There is something truly special about a river that remains exactly as nature intended. 🛶

We often get asked what makes Baffle Creek so unique. Besides being a premier spot for Mangrove Jack and mud crabbing, it’s one of the last undisturbed coastal rivers in the state. At Flinders Lodge, we’re lucky enough to be right on the high bank with direct access to all 35km of it!

We’ve been hosting guests here for 7 years now, and we’d love to welcome you for your next getaway.
