Kick-start your long weekend at The Globe.

Paul and Benny are firing up the pizza oven in the beer garden from 4pm, serving up the perfect after-school treat.

We've got marshmallows ready for roasting over the fire, meat raffles throughout the evening, and the Joker Draw has climbed to a massive $2400.

Joker tickets are available with every purchase from 5pm, with the draw at 7pm.

Then settle in for Raiders vs Roosters live and loud on the TVs from 8pm.

Good food, cold drinks, warm fires, and a cracking long weekend atmosphere.

In 2006, the Keith Kirkwood Memorial Darts Day began in honour of a local legend known simply as "The Old Master."

Nearly two decades later, the tradition continues.

🎯 Old Masters Memorial Darts Day
📅 Saturday, June 6th
🕑 2pm

Join us for a day where players of all abilities are welcome to throw a few arrows, share a few stories, and help support a cause close to our community.

❤️ All proceeds from the day go to the Rylstone District Hospital.

We'll have:
• Darts throughout the afternoon. Signups open from 1pm.
• Raffles and fundraising activities
• Great company and a few cold drinks
• Live music from Rachael Kennedy after the darts

Rachael's unique blend of alt-country, folk and rock reflects a journey from rural NSW to the Blue Mountains and beyond. Her songs are heartfelt, honest and the perfect soundtrack to round out a great community day.

The names on the honour board tell the story of a competition, but the day itself is about something bigger — community, mateship, and remembering those who helped make local darts what it is today.

Come throw a dart, buy a raffle ticket, enjoy some live music, and help us support our local hospital.

House-made leek and potato soup finished with crispy prosciutto, rosemary, extra virgin olive oil, and served with toasted sourdough.

• Prawn Puttanesca Pappardelle
Prawns tossed through pappardelle with tomatoes, olives, garlic, herbs, and a rich puttanesca sauce.

• Warm Roast Chicken Salad
Roast chicken with honey-roasted beetroot, seared fennel, mixed leaves, wholegrain mustard dressing, and fresh fennel fronds.
