It’s been lovely to see a few koalas around Allambi over the past month 🐨🌿

We hadn’t seen Ruby for a little while, so it was especially nice to spot her yesterday, hanging out high in the treetops and looking very much at home. She’s in the second photo ❤️

Always a special moment seeing these beautiful locals enjoying the property and knowing the habitat here continues to provide them with a safe place to call home.

💧 A helping hand for our wildlife at Allambi Retreat 🐨🌿
We’ve had these wildlife drinking stations, kindly donated by WIRES ready to go for a while now. But with all the rain we’ve had, there simply hasn’t been much need for them!
Now that things have finally started to dry out, we’ve begun installing them around the property in areas regularly used by our local wildlife.
This one was certainly a challenge. Getting everything up the mountain and installing the station on a huge old tree took some effort, but it’s now in place and ready to provide a reliable source of water for koalas and the many other animals and birds that call Allambi home.
With 110 acres to look after, projects like this can take a bit of work but seeing these little additions spread throughout the property makes it well worth it.
A big thank you to WIRES for supplying the drinking stations and helping us continue to improve the habitat here at Allambi. 💚
Now we just need to see who discovers it first and we have a motion detection camera positioned perfectly to find out ! 🐨🦜

We were thrilled to see Allambi Retreat featured on Channel 7's The Morning Show as part of Mater Cars for Cancer campaign.

Nestled amongst the natural beauty of Cedar Creek, in the heart of the Samford Valley, Allambi Retreat was proud to feature as part of a campaign helping raise awareness and support for cancer research and patient care across Queensland.

With the recent rain bringing everything to life, it was lovely to see the property looking so green, vibrant and full of character.

What a feed!

Pete's BBQ truly delivered over the weekend, cooking up a storm for the RAW Commercial Projects team at their annual family gathering. We simply can't speak highly enough of the service, and the food was incredible, not just the meat, but the sides were an absolute highlight as well. Even better were the leftovers to enjoy the next day.

If you're after catering at your next event or family gathering, we highly recommend.

Excited to once again welcome the team from Mater to Allambi Retreat, where the stunning photos and videography for the launch of their latest Mater Cars for Cancer prize draw have been captured.

Two years ago, a group of incredible volunteers came together at Allambi Retreat to plant a huge native garden bed along with a large number of koala habitat trees 🌱
At the time, many of the plants were tiny, some were just 6 inch saplings. Fast forward to today, and those same trees are now reaching up to 5 metres tall. What was once bare space is now a thriving, living environment in just two years!
These before and now photos really say it all.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and care to make this happen. This is what’s possible when people come together with a bit of vision and a lot of heart.
It’s also a reminder that with the right attention and patience, we can create something truly beautiful using native plants, supporting not just the landscape, but local wildlife as well.
