The Green Lake Committee of Management would like to advise all visitors and community members that traces of blue-green algae have been detected in the lake.
For your safety, we strongly recommend avoiding swimming, water skiing, fishing, or drinking the water while the algae is present. Please also ensure that pets do not drink from the lake.
We will continue to monitor the situation and keep the community updated as more information becomes available.

The countdown is officially on for the 2026 Berriwillock Rodeo and it’s shaping up to be a massive weekend.

Free camping from Friday to Sunday.

Friday night kicks the weekend off with a free event, bar service, BBQ and live music.

Saturday features the main rodeo event, followed by live music after the dust settles.

There will be Kids Rides, Food Vans, Ice Cream, Coffee and Donuts, Face Painting, BBQ, Bar, Salami by the metre, Varied Merchandise and a Rodeo with enough kick to eject you from your saddle.

Sunday is all about recovery, with a relaxed wind down and BBQ & bacon and eggs to wrap up an unforgettable weekend.

This is a full weekend of rodeo, music and good times you won’t want to miss.

Dear Campers,

Welcome to Green Lake Camping Ground, we would like to advise that we are currently experiencing power shortages , and the COM's are working hard to resolve the issue. We have plans in place for the future but unfortunately the issue will not be fixed before Australia Day.

Your cooperation can significantly help us manage the limited power supply during this time. We kindly ask you to limit the use of high-power appliances, including:
Coffee machines
Slushie makers
Microwaves
Etc
Additionally, if you are staying in a van, please switch your fridge and hot water systems to run on gas instead of electricity.
If your Mushroom is tripping out , then you are simply using too much Power.

Thank you for your patience and understanding . We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your efforts to help us conserve power.
