Here are our Men at Work. We are always improving the park to make our guests stay easier and enjoyable. Today Tim (our hard working manager) and Dave (landscaper extraordinaire) are putting in new turrets and leveling sites with the help of our mate Gordo (bobcat whisperer); and Nathan (our wonderful assistant manager) is helping with daily yard duties to keep our park clean and tidy.

We hope everyone took the opportunity to get away over the Anzac Day weekend but if you didn't there is still Labour Day weekend coming up in May. Why dont you pack the van and take your family and the dog away for a long weekend. With dog friendly sites and access to an off leash dog beach Captain Cook Holiday Village is the perfect holiday destination for you and your pets. We love our bush setting here at CCHV. If you are a bird watcher, nature lover or photographer there is plenty to see if you sit quietly and look. 🦉🦅

We were very fortunate that Cyclone Alfred gave Agnes Water and 1770 a miss and as you can see its still swimming weather here with our resident kookaburras spotted drying off in the sun after a dip in the pool.

Meet a couple of our resident goannas. We have around five goannas who live in the park. Stumpy is easy to spot because he has lost part of his tail. He likes climbing trees. The second resident is just checking things out. Its busy in the park today as we are levelling out our sites and creating some lovely new gardens. I think they are a bit interested in what is going on in their habitat.
