⚽🦁 Big weekend at High Street Motor Inn!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Brisbane Roar FC while they were in town for the Kappa Pro Series clash with Gold Coast United 💪🔥

Our littlest staff member (Guest Relations - Junior Divsion) was living his best life — playing in the Half Time Hero game for Stanthorpe Carlton United Football Club and then casually collecting autographs over our hearty buffet breakfast Aussie Beef Steakhouse the next morning. No big deal 😎✍️

Nothing beats serving up a solid brekky to fuel the pros — and a few excited mini-fans too! 🥓🍳☕

Thanks for staying with us, Brisbane Roar FC, and congrats on a fantastic win! 🏆

Happy Mothers Day! 🌹🌻🌸

Today we celebrate the Mumma’s—juggling it all with love, laughter, and maybe a little chaos. We see you, we salute you & we celebrate you! 💪❤️

If you've ever stayed or dined with us, you probably know that High Street Motor Inn and Aussie Beef Steakhouse are proudly family-owned and operated. Chances are, you've seen our little ones ducking through the restaurant in their PJs for a goodnight kiss or “helping” with keys in Reception. 🛏️ 🔑

We chose this business so we could do it with, and for our kids. Being a mum is one of my greatest blessings, and I couldn’t be prouder to have them by my side—even if they do clean us out of Nuggets & Apple Juice... 😜

EDIT ** For whatever reason, The Wandering Bushy aka Jack Oliver aka Dale Tate decided he should pack a trolley and go for a bloody long walk.

We don’t know what he is walking towards or away from, and only he knows his real motivation. We can only hope that it is from a place of good & positive intentions.

We could be bitter, we could be jaded and we could flatly refuse to offer help again… but what good would that do us or our fellow community?

We will continue to pay it forward when we can… even if it comes with a few burns now and then.

Jack walked—yes, WALKED—from the Sunny Coast to Stanthorpe, pulling a bright yellow trolley with his belongings. His mission? To escape the city and shine a light on small regional towns like ours.

It was our pleasure to give him a bed for the night & a steak for his belly! Safe travels, Jack—we’ll be following your journey! 👀
