CARCOUR: The tranquil hamlet on the mid-western tablelands holds an exciting secret: it's a well-used film production set, having hosted Rebel Wilson last week for her new film project. Today, an old Dodge truck is about to rev up a ramp under the supervision of a seasoned stunt film director, who constructed the bus in 'PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT' and made the vehicles for all 'MAD MAX' movies. CARCOUR is a charming town with friendly locals.

Early morning on Shellharbour North beach is magic.I drop by on my way to work,so privileged to live near the ocean. Some dog owners greet the dawn with their regular routine,some early morningcsurgers catch a wave on their way to work also.

The closest patrolled beach is Shellharbour South beach,near the caravan park and the entrance of the new marina.This morning walkers and fishermen were active in the dunes

What to have for breakfast as Shellharbour Village wakes up with the kiss of a summer sun and the hug of a gentle Easterley breeze.Our favourite is a Egg and Bacon roll at the Thirteen Patisserie on Addison road.There are more baristas than seagulls on Addison road.More are opening as the charm of Shellharbour Village entices the discerning traveller.
