Spring arrives in the kitchen this week. Iain Smart is here to welcome it in.

His Chef Series menu for this Thursday, 3rd September is here - and there's a decision waiting at the end of the table: the strawberry and vanilla cheesecake with strawberry sorbet, bright and cool as the new season, or the apple and frangipane tart with custard and sour cream, warm and rounded.

We don't get many nights like this one.

On Friday 18th September, Bangalay Dining is welcoming Matt Atallah to our table - a winemaker whose family has been growing grapes for generations, and who's spent his career chasing the perfect cool-climate site. He found it on the slopes of Mt Canobolas in Orange, where his small, sustainably farmed vineyards now produce some of the most distinctive wine in NSW.

Bangalay Dining Executive Chef, Simon Furley, has built a five-course menu to match - springtime flavours from our own coastline, paired glass by glass with Matt's wines, and Matt himself at the table to tell the stories behind them.

It's one night only, and seats are limited - this is the kind of evening that doesn't come around twice.
