Sisters Beach House is a stylish vintage self-contained 3-bedroom beach house (shack) located in Sisters Beach on Tasmania's north-west coast. Across the road from the beach and surrounded by a native garden the house is bathed in sunlight all day and warmed by a wood fire heater at night. The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure 'MasterChefs' have everything they need to cook up a storm and has a

large north-facing deck with undercover outdoor dining table and BBQ. It is located 150m from the boat ramp/jetty and entrance to Rocky Cape National Park's walking tracks. Sisters Beach House is where you can relax and take refuge in the natural environment. Enjoy the sound of the waves at night and the chirping native birds in our garden in the morning. Feedback from guests and positive reviews online and in Lonely Planet confirm how much guests enjoy staying in our delightful retro-chic beach house. Our record player is a hit with guests who are encouraged to play their own version of RocKwiz or Spicks & Specks. The vinyl collection includes original 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s music such as 10CC, ABBA, Dusty Springfield, Elton John, Glenn Campbell, Heart, Icehouse, Neil Diamond, Randy Crawford, Roberta Flack, Rolling Stones, Silver Convention, Soul II Soul, Slade, Suzi Q, Terence Trent Derby, Wham and many more.

We welcome very well behaved pets, and you can enjoy long walks with them on the 1km off-leash beach just across the road from the house 🐶🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐾🦴

“We had a great stay at Sisters Beach House, set in a garden lovingly planted with native plants, just a minute from the beach, and a few minutes to the start of stunning walks up to Rocky Cape National Park. The beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed. Angela went out of her way to advise us about exploring the area and this beautiful community at Sisters Beach. We explored the northern part of the Tarkine and returned via Stanley. Two nights were definitely not enough to make the most that the house and area have to offer. Thank you so much, Angela!”

Wood chopping all day at the Wynyard Show. Double Handed Sawing (incl. Jack & Jill) Standing Chop, Underhand, Tree Felling, Chain Saws, Hot Saws, Juniors, Masters etc. The only thing missing was a Jill & Jill Double Handed Sawing comp! Or did we miss it?

We will sponsor a Jill & Jill Double Handed Sawing competition in 2027 if some sisters are ready to train and enter.

Wynyard Show. Big blue sky, people everywhere … wood chopping, gumboot throwing, show jumping, shearing, tractor reversing (!), Muster dogs, birds, animals, flowers, baking, knitting, crochet, painting and more … Five hours later we left. And thanks to all the amazing volunteers who made it happen. Best show ever 👏🏻😍

Don’t miss it in 2027!

The stairway to heaven. At least that’s what I call this section of track not far from the shack. Exactly 109 stairs beautifully installed by and perfect if you want a little elevation and exercise in the morning! 🥾👊🏻💙
