A little piece of paradise

We have been visiting Mission Beach for many years, often staying at South Mission, but also Wongaling and North Mission. The more we stay there, the more we love it. Earlier this year we finally purchased a lovely little holiday house in South Mission. We decided to offer it on Airbnb to share the peace and tranquillity it provides.

Commodore Cottage is surrounded by rainforest. We have a huge fully fenced yard that overlooks nothing but rainforest. It is a two bedroom home, sleeping up to five people. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach. We often have cassowaries walking by, and we found an echidna in the garden one morning.

We love going for beach walks, and there are lots of other walks around Mission Beach as well. I highly recommend the Kennedy walking track at South Mission. It is a beautiful boardwalk along the coast line with stunning views.

We love visiting the markets at North and South Mission, and checking out the shops at North Mission. Wongaling is the location for the new splash pad, opening next month. This will be an awesome place for families to hang out and cool off, especially when it’s stinger season and you don't want to go in the ocean. The brand new pool at South Mission will also be opening any day now.
