Weddings! Private Functions! Parties! A quiet escape! The list goes on! Your wedding day or special event deserves the perfect location. With a uniquely designed, dedicated function area at Alton Downs, make your dreams a reality and create the perfect setting for your special day. Having only recently married ourselves, we were disappointed with the choices available for what we were looking for

to make our wedding day everything we imagined. Our search for the perfect venue took us and our guests almost 600km from home. We then set about creating something that encompassed everything to make your special day all you can imagine. We have purpose built an affordable relaxed function area that can cater for up to 200 guests. Our wedding and function packages are designed to suit your every need offering flexibility and catering to your individual requirements, style and personalities so you can feel at home in a relaxed country environment with memories to last a lifetime. There are 2 spacious accommodation sites available which have been designed to create a hassle free and relaxing short or extended stay. A generous licensed bar is onsite and caters for your individual requirements. Guests may camp on the grounds surrounding the function area and there is ample parking onsite. Weddings…. Relax and prepare in one of our suites or make use of the open loft area while your guests gather on the lawn for pre ceremony drinks. Our generous lawn area is designed to accommodate both ceremony and reception. Seat your guests either side of the aisle leading up to the Gazebo or have it set up with outdoor dining or cocktail reception. There is plenty of space to incorporate a wedding marquee for a more intimate reception. The fully licensed bar area can comfortably seat 60 or up to 80 in a cocktail situation. It is a requirement for weddings that both accommodation sites are booked for the night before and the night of the wedding. This ensures that you have the sole use of the venue.
