Hello wonderful backpacking humans, here's a little update on our accommodation here at Pint on Punt Backpackers in regards to COVID-19. (23-19!)
We are open as usual and are welcoming new bookings with great weekly slightly reduced rates on our 6, 4, 3 bed dorms and private rooms, as we know many of our guests will be working in sectors affected by this.
However
We will NOT accept anyone who has arrived after Sunday 15th of March, as you should be in self-quarantine for two weeks and we are clearly not the place to do this due to us having shared facilities.
The safety of our current guests is of the utmost importance to us and we will be checking to see what date new check-ins arrived in the country. As the self-quarantine information is readily available as an extra deterrent we will not be refunding anyone who has booked themselves in here for 'self-quarantine.' So please book yourself appropriate accommodation.
We are trying to limit the amount of people in dorms, we have increased deep cleaning and sanitising of high traffic areas, door handles, the kitchen etc, we have an infa-red thermometer and anyone with high temperatures or who feels unwell will be put into a designated 'quaratine' room until they can see a doctor.
We ask our guests to respect government guidelines and limit getting up close and personal with others.
Hopefully together we can avoid having a 23-19!! and get on through this together. Wash your hands spread the love by bumping elbows not uglies.
