As we say seeya later to the few months many of us in this part of the world refer to as the Bushfire season rather than Summer…these moments captured just before Christmas remind us of how hoping for a storm full of rain can sometimes come with Mama Natures version of firestarters!!
As usual our legendary DFES Crews including Volunteers kept this blaze from becoming a ball of destruction.

Dunc in Bee Bloke mode after spotting another swarm resting in our zone! We’ve tried to tempt a few busy bees to move in with us, and with a little encouragement this colony may just think our hives are fit for their Queen!
