🎉🎉🎉 After 15 wonderful years, we have sold The Ark Stanley and ready for our retirement.

What began as a business became such an important and joyful chapter of our lives. Over the years we have welcomed guests from all around Australia and the world, shared stories, made friends and wonderful connections, celebrated special occasions, and created memories we will always treasure.

Living and working in Stanley has been an absolute privilege. This beautiful little town and its incredible community have given us friendships, support and a lifestyle we truly love. We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey — our guests, neighbours, local businesses and friends who helped make The Ark Stanley what it became.

To every person who stayed with us over the years, thank you for allowing us to share our beautiful location and this very special corner of Tasmania with you. We have loved every moment of it. ❤️

While this chapter is coming to an end, our story in Stanley certainly is not — we are staying on in the town we love and look forward to continuing to be part of this wonderful community.

In the meantime we will have another little holiday !

Fifteen years… it’s hard to believe.

What began as a simple dream has grown into something far more meaningful than we ever imagined. For the past 15 years, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming guests to our little bed and breakfast here in beautiful Stanley, Tasmania.

Along the way, we’ve shared countless sunrises, stories over breakfast, and moments that turn into lasting memories. We’ve met people from all corners of the world—many who arrived as guests and left as friends.

Running a bed and breakfast is so much more than providing a place to stay. It’s about creating a space where people can slow down, feel at home, and experience the magic of this special part of Tasmania’s north-west.

We also feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a warm and welcoming community here in Stanley. The support, friendship, and spirit of this town make it a truly special place—not just for our guests, but for us as well.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors over the years, and to the wonderful community who have supported us along the way. Your stories, your kindness, and your support have made this journey truly unforgettable.

Here’s to 15 wonderful years—and to many more moments yet to come.
