Oysters, gin and a little vinyl.

A few highlights from last week's Sip & Shuck at Stansbury Foreshore Caravan Park!

Freshly shucked oysters, local gin, some great tunes spinning on the turntable and cookie decorating to keep the little ones busy too!

Thanks to everyone who came along and joined in the fun.

Just a reminder:
The Stansbury Explorers Challenge is running all week, so pop into the Visitor Centre, grab your map and see what you can discover around town.
And from 3pm today, come along to Sip, Suck, Sprinkle & Shimmy in the park.
Cocktails, oysters, tunes and cookie decorating for the kids.

Love a kayak? But not a workout? Then this afternoon could be for you.
Around 3 to 5pm is looking pretty good at the moment, with gentle easterly winds, smooth conditions and a small swell forecast.
No guarantees, obviously. It is Stansbury and the weather does like to keep us on our toes. But if you’ve been thinking about getting the kayak out, this afternoon might be worth a look.

Gin. Oysters. Cookies. Vinyl

Well thats Thursday afternoon sorted. We have a little something happening at the Stansbury Foreshore Caravan Park these school holidays. Everyone welcome.

Join us on Thursday 8 October from 3pm for an afternoon in the park. Sit back whilst the kids decorate some cookies, sample some Gin, have some cocktails, enjoy some delicious fresh Stansbury oysters and listen to the crackle and pop of music on vinyl.

It doesn't get much better.

Did you know that Stansbury has its very own record and book shop? Tucked away a few minutes from the foreshore Peninsula Records and Books is one of those places thats well worth a detour for.

There are tubs of brand new and second hand vinyl records. Not just for record collectors it has shelves of the latest book releases, books for kids, puzzles, games, cards and more. It is the perfect spot to drop in and grab yourself a book or some games for the van.

So if you are staying with us over the long weekend. Add this to your list.
They're open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday - 10-3 each day and can be found at 11 Weaver Street, Stansbury.

The Stansbury Seaside Explorer's Challenge runs from Monday 28 September to Sunday 11 October, and it's free.

Pick up a questionnaire from the Stansbury Visitor Information Centre at 3 Towler Street. Then round up the family and head off around town. Follow the route, find the clues and answer as many questions as you can along the way.

Bring your completed questionnaire back to the Visitor Centre to collect your treasure, and you'll go in the draw to win a voucher from a local business. Everybody is a winner.

It works whether you're a local, new to town or here for the holidays. You'll see Stansbury in a whole new way.
