it doesn’t get much more rewarding than this!
After all the work we’ve been doing we’re so happy to see Kangaroos grazing around the sites and Gallahs scratching around in the afternoons!

Providing a place for our guests and our wildlife to relax is the whole reason we work so hard.

Heads up! Get a deal now… Our rates are going up a little at the end of the week.
Cos ya know… surcharges 🙄 👎🏻

Book before Friday and you'll lock in today's prices (less the surcharge too) for any stay right through to the end of 2027, with just a deposit.

Here's why…

Card surcharges used to appear as their own line on your booking.

That money was never ours. It went straight to the banks, and we liked being upfront about that.

As you know, we can no longer charge it separately so that fee (at minimum $3 a booking) now comes out of our pocket.

On our $35 a night sites, that puts us at a loss, and it wipes out the small margin on our other sites. So we now have to build it into our rates.

We've avoided price rises for as long as we could, and we haven't made this decision lightly.

The timing's not ideal either.

Low season's rolling in.. (don’t know why because Stanny is cooler in summer than anywhere in QLD!)

Fuel prices are keeping a lot of city friends closer to home.

And the drought has turned our grass more "rustic gold" than green.

(The views, the barrels and the welcome are still lush, promise.)

Big Bonus: fuel's currently around 20c a litre cheaper some days out here than in Brissie! ⛽️

So here's the deal:
• Book before Friday
• Pay just the deposit
• Lock in current rates for any stay until the end of 2027

We did it!!!! Our little region just won the big one!! We’ve just been awarded AUSTRALIA’s best tourist town! 🏆

We’re so proud to be part of a region that punches big and delivers world class guest experiences and memories.

In the last 12 months alone just our park has clocked up over 18,800+ guest nights here and no doubt this number will just keep growing.
(Not bad from 0 tourists only 2.5 years ago!)

Add to that the incredible and special variety of experiences, B&Bs and uniquely w**e country memories across our region.

That’s a lot of new visitors to our region, and we’re very proud to be part of bringing a whole heap of new people into local businesses and experiences to enjoy the stunning Stanthorpe and Granite Belt region!

Stanthorpe has today been named Australia’s Top Tourism Town for 2026 — taking out the national title after already being crowned Queensland’s best earlier this year.

This belongs to the tourism operators, accommodation providers, w**eries, growers, cafes, restaurants, retailers, event organisers and locals who make visitors feel welcome every single day.

We know how special this part of the world is. Now Australia knows it too.

And importantly, tourism means jobs, investment and money being spent in our local businesses. This is an opportunity we need to grab with both hands.

A little note from Amanda and Blake:

A little research 🇫🇷🍷🧀

The last few days we’ve been in Paris learning all about automated accommodation, clever vending and product pairing, and picking up plenty of ideas to bring back to the park.

Yesterday we also ticked off a goal we’ve had since moving to Qld w**e country - we learnt how to properly pair w**e and cheese with a French sommelier.

Lots of tasting, lots of learning, and LOTS of ideas coming home with us for the park!!
