There is a wonderful creative energy in the Granite Belt this time of year with the biennial Stanthorpe Art Prize about to open.

Since 1972, the Stanthorpe Art Prize has been a beacon for artistic talent, attracting entries from across Australia. The exceptional quality of the selected works underscores its esteemed position within the Australian arts community.

There are still tickets available for the opening night and announcement of winners on Friday 12th June, tickets are available https://www.srag.org.au/stanthorpeartprize2026

Archibald Prize winners are featured as judges of this incredible exhibition that is open until August 23rd.
