“It felt like you were in the country, yet so close to town.”

Sometimes our guests describe Diamondvale better than we ever could.

“We enjoyed our getaway at Diamondvale Estate, Stanthorpe. The location was great, it felt like you were in the country yet so close to town. The cottage was gorgeous, private and clean. To top it off the visiting kangaroos each day were a highlight. We will be back.”

That last little sentence might just be our favourite.

Thirty acres of natural bushland, kangaroos dropping by, your own private cottage — and Stanthorpe just a couple of kilometres away.

A little bit country, wonderfully convenient and, we hope, somewhere that feels even better the second time around.

One of the perks of having family visit? Playing tourist in your own backyard.

We spent a little time at The Church Local W**e Project over the weekend — and it’s such a clever way to discover just how much is happening in Granite Belt w**e.

Inside this beautiful old church, the walls are lined with bottles from around 35 local w**eries, bringing some of the Granite Belt’s best together under one roof. It’s collaborative, distinctly local and a wonderful introduction to our w**e region.

It’s also why you might occasionally find a tasting card from The Church waiting for you at Diamondvale. Sometimes it’s a little thank you from us; sometimes we simply think you’ll love discovering what’s behind those doors.

Because part of welcoming you to our little corner of the Granite Belt is sharing the places we enjoy too.

Right out the front of Diamondvale, the Heritage Trail follows Quart Pot Creek for around 3km into Stanthorpe — winding past huge granite boulders, through natural bushland and alongside the creek.

Then, almost before you know it, you pop out near the historic Red Bridge and, conveniently it's just about the perfect distance to have earned a morning coffee and pastry at Zest.

One of our Gravel Cartel guests captured these beautiful images while staying with us last weekend, and we think they show perfectly why we keep saying the natural environment here is part of the Diamondvale experience, not simply the view from your cottage.

Walk it slowly, take some pics, stop along the creek — there’s no hurry. Sometimes exploring the Granite Belt starts right at your cottage door.

There's something about a Diamondvale wedding.

Today is a very special day here at Diamondvale Estate as we welcome a local couple and their favourite people to celebrate their wedding.

The florals are being arranged, the aisle is taking shape and our little team is busy making sure all those thoughtful details come together to create a day that feels entirely their own.

We won't be sharing the happy couple's special moments just yet, but we thought we'd give you a little glimpse behind the scenes of the magic happening here today.

We love weddings that are less about putting on a performance and more about being present, celebrating your love and making memories with the people who matter most.

One of the things we love most about Diamondvale is that no two guests enjoy the grounds quite the same way.

Some head straight for the creek. Some find a sunny spot with a book. Others wait until evening to gather around the fire and watch the sky change.

There are 30 acres here to enjoy, and no particular way you're meant to spend your time.

Last week, this lovely group of ladies took a little time out to enjoy one another's company here at Diamondvale - with a Devonshire tea, delicious treats and, nowhere else they needed to be. And really, that's what time away is sometimes all about. We love creating these little extras for our guests. Something thoughtfully prepared, enjoyed right here on the verandah, that gives you another reason to simply be where your feet are and enjoy the people you're with.

A Devonshire tea is just one of the things we can arrange for groups staying with us - perfect for a girls' getaway, family gathering, birthday or simply because spending time together is worthy of celebrating.

We're rolling out the welcome mat for some of our favourite returning guests this week — the Gravel Cartel!

This visit is an extra special one, celebrating the Gravel Cartel's 5th birthday, a wedding anniversary for founder Kent and a birthday for his wife Michelle too!

The Gravel Cartel are the only crew we know offering supported gravel rides on the Granite Belt, and their annual Diamondvale visit has become a much-loved fixture on our calendar. Their 2027 visit sold out in just THREE days!

We love the thought and care that goes into every visit. Kent is always asking what's new around the region for his guests to discover, and their itineraries make the most of our wonderful local w**eries, food producers and attractions.

They make the whole of Diamondvale their own, including our new Wheel House, and their visits are a wonderful contribution to our local economy.

The rides are planned, w**eries booked, meals prepped and we're ready to welcome the crew back!

Happy celebrations, Gravel Cartel! We absolutely love having you here. Here's to good company, great adventures and making more memories together.
