National Wattle Day today, more than our national flower, a reminder that Spring has definitely sprung and any jar, bucket, vase and more will have a piece of this golden goodness to be spread around the place for weeks to come. Wedding here next month, fingers crossed it lasts until then!

Relaxing into the weekend should look like this… slow burning log fire, glass of local red in hand, undisturbed king sized bed to wake up slowly to begin exploring all the Granite Belt has to offer.

A gorgeous rainbow over the Pioneer Hut recently, the Hut was home to 70th birthday celebrations and week long connection of a lovely family, a real treat to see 3 generations soaking in the slower pace and little things that matter

What a happy, sunshiny bloom that just appeared in the garden, in complete contrast to the minus 5 degrees we’ve experienced over the past week. Needless to say the firewood deliveries continue as do the guests enjoying the best of a Granite Belt winter!

Winter is our busiest season, and over the past few weeks we've been doing what we love most—welcoming guests back for their annual Granite Belt getaway.

In between making beds, lighting fires, sharing local recommendations and enjoying a chat, we've also been working on all those little "1%ers" that quietly make every stay a little better.

Behind the scenes, we've been putting the finishing touches on our Queensland Tourism Awards submission too. It gave us the chance to reflect on how far Diamondvale has come and, more importantly, why we do what we do.

Now that it's been submitted, we're looking forward to getting back to it here on socials —sharing more of Diamondvale, the Granite Belt and the wonderful people who make this region so special.

Diamondvale Estate has always been more than just a weekend.

Love when guests return year after year to make more memories together. This mother and daughter duo sure know the region well now. Now they bring their partners too, one of which has a talent for photography he discovered here. Lucky for us some of his favourite pics find their way back to us as well.

An absolute delight to see new and unique businesses opening on the Main Street of Stanthorpe.

Huge welcome to theartistsresource. Frinny is a talented artist, her works are hanging on the walls of her wonderful space, hand printed tea towels with wonderful hand drawn imagery of the icons in the region are the perfect souvenir to take home.
