Stanthorpe ❤️🍷Stanthorpe has officially been crowned Queensland’s Top Tourism Town for 2026.

After proudly taking home Silver last year, our cool-climate country town has now gone one better, recognised for the moments that matter most: slow mornings, vineyard afternoons, fireside evenings, genuine country hospitality, and unforgettable experiences that keep visitors returning season after season.

This award belongs to the entire Stanthorpe community, from our winemakers, growers and tourism operators to the local businesses and volunteers who help create something truly special here on the Granite Belt.

For everyone who has ever visited Stanthorpe for a romantic escape, a wine-filled weekend, a family getaway, or simply a chance to slow down and reconnect, thank you for being part of our story.

Together, we’ve shown Queensland that Stanthorpe isn’t defined by its size, but by the moments it creates.
