The bar and kitchen pass at Risby's are built from Huon pine salvaged from Strahan's old wharf - timber milled two centuries ago - paired with Tasmanian oak to bridge past and present.

Huon pine once travelled from the Gordon River through the Risby Brothers' Mill and on to shipbuilders across the British Empire. The same timber now holds our bar together.
