Some things at Franklin Manor simply cannot be rushed.

We have six vintage Maria Theresa chandeliers, two of which are original to the house.

Each one is a masterpiece of Austrian design with dozens of hand-cut Bohemian crystal drops that catch the light in a way that no modern fitting ever could.

Thanks to our Restaurant Manager and Sommelier François’ patience, steady hands and genuine love of history, every chandelier gets the white-glove treatment.

When the last crystal is polished and the lights come back on, it’s worth every minute.
