The Space
The Mill House is a quaint Cottage which was one of several that originally housed workers from a local Saw Mill. There are three bedrooms, two with a queen size bed and one with twin single beds. Guests have exclusive use of one of the bathrooms which is adjacent to the Guest Rooms. Towels and soaps are provided. Guest Access
Guest have access to all parts of the property but we prefe
r that Kitchen facilities are not used. Interaction with Guests
The level of interaction really is up to the guests. There will be someone there to meet you when you 'check in' and let you settle in. We are however, very hospitable and accessible and invite guests to join us for meals, (for a nominal fee) . We are happy to help out with some advice on how best to enjoy the surrounding area. If prearranged we are happy to make you a memorable meal, with produce sourced from our garden and local suppliers. We also have access to fresh Lake's Entrance seafood which is as "good as it gets". We are available to advise on local attractions and can take you on a guided tour of the area for a nominal fee . Stratford is a Village on the Avon River with some great Specialty Shops and Cafes. The Avon Hotel provides good value Bistro and Counter Meals. Just a ten minutes drive to the Foothills of the Great Dividing Range is the Freestone Creek, where there are dozens of great swimming holes. The best way to experience the surrounding habitat is either by bush-walking along various tracks or mountain biking for the more adventurous. Not many neighborhoods can boast the sort of wildlife you will see in the area. Getting around
Public transport is restricted . The rail station is Stratford has regular services to and from Melbourne and we would be able to meet you and drive you to our property if required and organised prior to your arrival. Other Things to Note
