It is a bit overcast for New Years but hasnt it been great weather and wonderful water conditions in The Eurobodalla! I do have some vacancies if you are looking for a quick and affordable trip away.

It's 10c down here at Denhams Beach atm and although there are bluebottles washing up, the daily swimmers have had their dip and also advised me to be careful walking barefoot. It's a little unusual to see the blueies at this time of year ..

The weather is warm amd the sea is inviting everyone in! Some areas have had quite a bit of sand loss and you see this mostly around the headlands where rocks are exposed.... but it always comes back. In the middle photo the old concrete path between Surf and the little bay north is exposed again. Last full weekend of winter!

We had a lovely Canberra family - Dad and 2 children stay over last week. They swam every day but one, walked the beaches and cliffs, went to Mogo zoo and played the board games! They enjoyed so much. they even gave us a tip! Winter at the coast can be ever so fabulous!

There was a big swell around the bay this week, a southerly buster making things a bit chilly, but sun was out and temps around 17, so brisk coastal walks were full of magnificent views of nature being powerful
