I sadly missed the Aurora action the last few nights so I have reused this photo from earlier in the year! Swansea is small and cute, with very little light pollution, so seeing an Aurora with the naked eye isn’t all that rare here and quite surreal! Your chances are better in winter with the nights longer and darker.

What are we going to do this weekend? Well the weather here is fresh, clean and invigorating come and soak it up! Here at The Waterloo we are based inbetween 3 national parks - particularly good on a nice winters day is Maria Island and its friendly resident Wombats!! Did you know Wombats can weigh up to 36kg, can run up to 40kph and a group of Wombats is called a wisdom! Be wise like a group of wombat’s and call us for bookings, why not make a weekend of it!
